Don’t Put Your Music With I-Tunes…

So I am also getting ready to start doing some promotion for my Single “Beauty Dream”. I have re-directed all my sales from I-Tunes and other internet based distributors to my web site.

Don’t put your music with I-Tunes / online distributors is the lesson I have learned in the last 4 months.

It makes no sense to me that artists only receive 10c – 70c for the hard work they put into their music, and then they only receive their info (sales data) 45 days after the month and then another 45 days until you receive any money.

Anyways after being gung ho on the whole idea of my new single “Beauty Dream” being on I-Tunes. I have decided that I-Tunes sux!. They steal artists money!. Especially unsigned artists. I-Tunes just another piece of corporate machinery. So now all my sales will go through my web site which allows me to have more control of my product, sales and music.

It has been super hot in Scottsdale/Phoenix!. The desert rained the other day which was inspiring.

I have been writing some new material with a very new sound and vibe. I like these songs a lot and one or two I might demo and throw up online for feedback so stay tuned.
